We regularly offer a membership class, Membership Matters, that allows potential members to learn a little more about us, to explore the Biblical precedent for church membership, and importantly, the expectations of church members. Lunch is provided and it's a great time to meet our pastor and ask questions about the church.

If you are ready to proceed with membership after attending this class, you will be asked to complete a membership application that will allow you to share your story of coming to know Jesus as Savior. Our deacon board reviews and prays over all applications, and finally, a meeting is scheduled with our pastor to answer any final questions. At that time, new members are presented to the church to celebrate and affirm membership.

You may join Hillcrest by one of the following:

Statement of Faith

You have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord of your life and have been baptized by immersion after salvation, but are not currently a member of another church.

Transfer of Membership

You are a member in good standing of another Baptist church and have been baptized after your conversion-salvation experience.

You desire to follow and confess Jesus as Lord of your life, and in obedience to the example of Christ you wish to join by Baptism into the fellowship of believers at Hillcrest.
