Part of our mission at Hillcrest is to "disciple believers fully in obedience to Christ." We offer multiple opportunities to grow in faith and in knowledge of Scripture through Sunday School classes, discipleship groups, topical Bible studies, and an ever expanding resource library.
In an effort to keep families with children together most nights of the week and to provide ample time for our members to be in community in their local neighborhoods, most of our classes and groups are held on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Students / Adults
Sunday School is one of the most important opportunities for the discipleship of our body of believers. Because of this, we arrange our classes in a unique way that allows the wisdom of Scripture to be passed down from one generation to the next. Both our men's class and our women's class study from the same curricula, but we study separately and use this time to examine our lessons through the lens of Biblical Manhood and Biblical Womanhood.
Our older students (12 years and up) join the adults. Visit HILLCREST STUDENTS to learn more about our intergenerational class structure.
Our elementary Sunday School students learn together, play together, and pray together. Our Sunday School curriculum systematically exposes children to essential doctrines of the Christian faith and shows them how the whole Bible is about the greatest rescue story ever told. Classes typically include elements such as games, stories, crafts, and multimedia.
Nursery / Pre-K
Our Babies and Toddlers class listens to quiet praise music while they play with their friends in our bright, cheerful classrooms.
Our preschoolers work together to memorize Scripture, hymns, praise songs, and big picture truths while they study the storyline of the Bible.
Our classes incorporate plenty of games, songs, dancing, and group activities to keep everyone engaged and learning!

After Sunday School, parents may pick up their student and attend our Worship Service as a family.
Discipleship Groups are made up of three or four individuals who commit to meet together weekly for approximately one year to implement specific spiritual disciplines including scripture memory, confession of sin, accountability, and study of the Bible.
The purpose is to equip members of the group to replicate this process with a new group of disciples after they themselves have been intentionally discipled in this manner. The format attempts to capture the spirit of Jesus' method of extended personal investment with his own disciples.

MIDWEEK AT HILLCREST
Every Wednesday, we gather for a meal and fellowship. The menu is published in our weekly bulletin and is prepared by a team of volunteers. We ask that you register here or in person on Sundays. We ask for a donation of $2 per person to offset the cost of ingredients.
Our weekly time of corporate prayer is spent in intercession for needs both inside and outside our church. We also pray for specific areas of concern for our various ministry partners, for current world events, and for the leaders of our country at the local, state, and, national levels.
We pray for God's blessing of unity on us as a body of believers, and for wisdom for our church leadership.
Our midweek classes include various topical and expositional study options, including classes about parenting, apologetics, and book of the Bible studies, among many others. Each class is approximately 12 weeks long and class offerings change throughout the year.
Together we explore ancient Biblical texts and consider the practical application of Scripture and how our lives as Christ followers are to be guided by God’s Word.
Hillcrest offers a wealth of resources available to check out including books, study materials, music, and videos. Our inventory is regularly growing and we also feature a resource of the month that we encourage the entire church body to take time to read. These books are carefully curated to provide readers with rich material that encourage Christian thinking and a Biblical worldview.
